Candle Stand
This candle stand is made of poplar, and painted with milk paint. The shape of the table looks very modern but was in fact designed in the early 1800's. The feet taper in their thickness along their length: a feature seen in authentic museum versions but never in machine made versions. The feet connect to the post with sliding dovetails just like the originals. Other colors include Lexington Green, Mustard Yellow, Soldier Blue and Black. Also available in maple, cherry or walnut.
